A Movie for Teens: Disturbia
Disturbia, starring Shia LaBeouf, is about a kid in high school who is put under house arrest for punching his teacher in the face. While extreme boredom kicks in, Kale begins to spy on his neighbors. At first, it’s just playful spying, like figuring out what time his neighbors have dinner or take the trash in. However, after seeing one of his neighbors act extremely suspicious, Kale begins to investigate.
This movie is a good movie, but will be liked most by teenagers. There is some high school romance involved, and I don’t know how much a 40 year old will take interest in this. The movie seems like a bit of a ripoff of a classic by Alfred Hitchcock, but remember - this movie caters to the teenage audience. I doubt a teenager would know who Hitchcock is. If you’re over 20 years old, I recommend you do not see this movie.
