Chazzle Dazzle: Blades of Glory
Will Farrell is hilarious in all of his movies. That’s why I went into Blades of Glory expecting a hilarious movie, and I got one. Farrell plays Chazz Michael Michaels, a sex addict and figure skater. Jon Heder, who played Napoleon Dynamite, is Jimmy MacElroy, a somewhat feminine male figure skater. Anyways, when the two get into a huge fight, they are banned from singles competition. However, Michaels and MacElroy are able to compete in pairs, so they become the first ever male/male team.
Farrell is extremely funny throughout the entire movie. Whether he’s making fun of MacElroy, or hitting on a female, you’ll be laughing at what he says. He doesn’t say anything too crude either, so those above age 13 can appreciate the humor in the movie. It’s not too long of a movie, and the overall plot is extremely silly, but hey, it’s a comedy right? Pick up a copy of Blades of Glory, because it is one of the funnier movies of 2007.
