You and Your Rope: The Boondock Saints
The Boondock Saints is about two brothers trying to rid Boston of evil. They do whatever it takes to cleanse the city, even if illegal. They claim that they are on a mission from God. I found the movie to be humorous at times, action-packed at others, but overall it is really just an enjoyable movie. Yes, there are a few racist jokes in there, so don’t show this to your son that just turned 10. The actors play their roles to almost perfection, and the FBI agent that tracks the two brothers plays one of the most odd roles I’ve ever seen.
I wish I could write pages and pages about The Boondock Saints, but you really just have to go out yourself and buy the movie. It’s somewhat aged now, so you could probably get it for just a few bucks. A sequel to The Boondock Saints called All Saints Day will be released in 2008, so make sure to catch this fantastic film prior to the release of the sequel.
