Bond, James Bond: Casino Royale

Categories: Thriller, Adventure, Action.

Casino Royale PosterThe 21st movie in the James Bond series is Casino Royale, and it is easily one of the better Bond movies around. The new Bond, played by Daniel Craig, plays his role very well. He seemed a little weaker than past Bonds, as you could tell from the very beginning of the movie. However, he also seemed to be a lot smarter. The main plot behind the movie is that Bond has to win a Texas Hold’em game that has a $10 million buy-in and a $100 million pot. He is backed by a treasury, and playing against a major terrorist investor. If he loses, he will be directly funding terrorism. However, if he wins, the terrorist investor (Le Chiffre) will be killed for losing his client’s money.

The best part about this movie was that it is modern with the whole Texas Hold’em thing. With the increased number of Hold’em players, any fan of the game will also be a fan of this movie. This really is a fun and interesting movie. The ending is a little weird, but overall I would recommend any movie-goer to rent this flick, because after all, it is a Bond movie.

Weaker? How? Is he supposed to be “SuperBond”?

Take at look at the beginning of the movie. He was getting torn apart by that black guy who was some super runner.

He needed to rebuy against LeChreefe.

He didn’t seem as strong.
